All Things Mi'kmaq is a Web Directory of links to Mi'kmaq businesses, politics, friends, resources, history, culture, language, treaties, and more.
The Mi'kmaq People have occupied a vast woodland area along the northeastern
coast of Turtle Island (eastern canada) since time
immemorial. Anthropologists have found ancient artifacts which
is thought to be the first evidence of early man living in this
area roughly around 8 to 12 thousand years ago. TODAY the Mi'kmaq
People still use and occupy their ancestral lands but are faced
with extinction as the dominant society seeks title to this land.
