Sellassie Lists and Forums Rules

Since 1998, Sellassie WWW has been an open communication forum. Our aim is to provide the exchange of ideas for constructive, informational and educational purposes. Our main focus has been and continues to be to bring all friends of Haile Sellassie together.

Our achievements would not have occurred without your participation -- thank you.

The Sellassie Lists are functioning under all the rules and limitation that the Internet imposes. Sellassie Forum is not simply a mailing list; it is a discussion forum.

Our policies are based on the following basic guidelines:

* we cannot and does not guarantee the delivery of each posting.

* list is not moderated.

* promotes an open communication medium and free exchange of ideas. Ethiolist cannot monitor where each e-mail has been forwarded. Our guideline state that it is up to the individual to express a "Copy Right" disclaimer on the write-ups before the distribution has been made to the list.

* reserves the right to deny subscription.

Our guidelines are to be followed by all subscribers.

1. We uphold the principle - communicate openly but in a civil manner.

2. Sellassie Forum has an open door policy for all ethnic groups. We ALL can come together only by debates and discussions.

3. Cross-posting from other lists to the Forum without the permission of the postmaster is forbidden.

* Forum does not permit the forwarding of mails from non-subscriber or ex-subscriber who has been removed from the list.

4. Upon Request from the webmaster, discussions of "heated" nature, personal attacks, etc. will be diverted to off-line communication.

5. All advertisements must first get the postmaster's approval. The list reserves the right to ask for compensation for all advertisements that are made on any of its forums without prior approval.
